My name’s Gola.
Welcome.
It’s a pleasure to tell you
some things about me
and show you
some of my work.
Currently, I have been working as the Executive Creative Director at Grey Brazil.
With over two decades of experience in the advertising industry, I have had the privilege of working with major advertising agencies including Publicis, Leo Burnett, AlmapBBDO (14 years), and Lew'Lara/TBWA. During my career, I have taken on the responsibility of creating and leading projects and teams for renowned brands such as Volvo, Volkswagen, Audi, Fiat, Nissan, MAN Latin America, PepsiCo (Pepsi, H2Oh!, Doritos, Ruffles), M. Dias Branco, Camil, Visa, Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Bradesco Seguros, O Boticário, Ambev (Antarctica and Subzero), Procter & Gamble (Gillette, Pantene, Head&Shoulders, Downy), Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, Gol Airlines, Havaianas, Sanofi, Arno, Panamericana School of Art and Design, Mackenzie University, Cadbury, among many others.
I've had the privilege of creating and guiding campaigns that have become an integral part of Brazilian popular culture, contributing significant value to well-known brands in our country.
My work has been recognized with numerous awards, including 91 Cannes Lions for various clients and prestigious international and national awards such as D&AD, OneShow, Profissionais do Ano, and Clube de Criação.
I am proud to have been a part of AlmapBBDO when the agency was nominated Agency of the Year at Cannes in 2010, 2011, and 2016. I spent a decade working with the AlmapBBDO team, serving as an art director, creative director, and executive creative director.
In 2015, I was ranked as the 7th-most awarded Creative Director in the world in the Cannes rankings, and I climbed to 2nd place in 2016, maintaining that position in 2017.
I have also served as a jury member for the Art Direction category at D&AD in 2021 and as a Creative Commerce jury member at Cannes Lions in 2022.
Additionally, I had the honor of being chosen as the art director/designer for the 42nd yearbook of the "Clube de Criação."
My work has been published in notable publications such as 'Born in 1984: A History of Advertising' (with a foreword by Maurice Levy) and Luerzer's Archive."
